‪#‎Canada‬ The SPCA Montreal "Proudly Serving the Animals of Quebec Since 1869" is lying - dangerously - to the public, hoping to find someone who doesn't know a pit bull when they see one and therefore would be completely unaware of the danger they are putting their children, pets, and neighborhood in when they adopt the animal. This is shameful. Please contact them. This is no self-proclaimed fly-by-night rescuer nitwit, this is a 140 year old institution and these lies are dangerous and irresponsible.

  Christa Nick I spent all last night flagging craigslist backyard breeders who had litters of pits they were selling. I was able to find them under all sorts of names. Just in my valley alone there were hundreds of pit puppies being sold that are going to end up in shelters. I encourage everyone to discourage these breeders by flagging these listing on Craigslist so noone can see them. It is against craigslist policy to sell puppies on their site. Maybe this will save some people's lives? and keep rescues from their irresponsible behavior.

  Cat L. Rudert Please report these findings to Petfinder. I see the intentional mislabeling of pit bulls every day come across in my google alerts. I see shorter pit bulls called a basset hound mix!!! This has to stop. We need to keep pushing petfinder to do something about this misleading and dangerous practice.

  Michael Johnson Oceanside California "Humane Society" recently adopted out a "lab mix" / newly trained "service dog" to a neighbor whom I can no longer visit. Pit bull, of course. She didn't know and now they have bonded . More of us should view our local publicly supported shelters ON LINE to view the adoptable dogs and how they described. Comment to them if they lie. Your tax dollars. I fire people for lying.

  Sue Palen White boxers are usually culled from litters because of many health issues. For this reason, I have a hard time thinking it is a boxer.
